The previous software we were using recently launched a cloud-based version and we found it to be very limiting. It lacked flexibility and functionality. Moreover, it doesn’t support all the different regulatory frameworks that Food Label Maker does, which adds tremendous value for us.

The decision came down to cost versus value. We explored two other software options within our price range, but what really sold us on Food Label Maker was its user-friendly interface, straightforward design, and flexibility. Those qualities have proven true since we started using it.

What specific features do you find valuable?

1. The Nutrition Breakdown Report is particularly useful. We rely on it to analyze specific nutrients based on client requests, and we appreciate the ability to export the data in multiple file formats.
2. The Sub Recipe Feature is really great, and Food Label Maker handles this exceptionally well. With the previous legacy software we were using, any changes made in sub recipes didn’t carry over to the main recipe after their update, which caused a lot of inefficiency. With Food Label Maker, those updates are seamless, and we’re happy to have that capability again.
3. The AI Spec Sheet Parsing Tool saves us a significant amount of time when creating custom ingredients.
4. We also really appreciate how responsive the team is to feedback and how quickly issues are addressed – something we never experienced with the legacy software we were using. It often felt like user input didn’t matter.

Honestly, I’d say you’re not going to find another solution that offers the same range of capabilities, flexibility, and value all in one place – especially at this price point. We looked into a few other software options before choosing Food Label Maker; some were very rigid, and another initially seemed impressive but was completely surpassed once we saw Food Label Maker.
